Thanks to all in the boating camping fishing world we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from us at boatingcampingfishing.net. We wish you all the best in the festive season and trust that you will all be safe and sensible. It is a time to rest from work and have a well deserved break, although our thoughts are with all those that are very busy at this time. The industries that remain busy and don’t get a break maybe retail, tourism, delivery and transport, healthcare etc, we wish you all the best and hope you are making money and get a rest when all the hype is over. Sometimes that is a good thing, as this time of year is a bit mad and having a break when it is quieter and a bit cheaper makes sense.
Safety in the great outdoors
We all know that it is very easy to let your hair down and your guard down a bit when you stop work and get into the spirit of a relaxing and fun time. We can be a bit less conscious of our surrounds and the madness going on around us and when you think that everyone else is in a similar mind frame, this time of year can be quite dangerous. If you don’t have to go out, stay at home. But if you are going boating camping fishing then remember the words SAFETY FIRST. The population is a bit excited having finished school and work and maybe celebrating, so look out for yourself and family. Wherever you go will be a lot busier than usual, watch out for people drinking alcohol and please don’t drink if you are driving. This time of year can bring extremes of temperature with those in the southern hemisphere enjoying hot climes while those in the northern hemisphere could be freezing. These extremes can grate on people’s nerves and make them a little more volatile than usual, so be a bit more patient and slow down a little.
Great time to go Boating Camping Fishing
It is a great time to go boating camping fishing, especially when the sky is clear and the winds are light. When friends and family are all having time off at the same time, it is a good chance to come together to go boating or camping or fishing or better still all of the above. Just be prepared and take all the essential items needed for a safe and comfortable trip, there is nothing worse than getting to your destination and finding out you have left a very important item at home. Don’t forget to allow plenty of time for preparation and also for pack up both at the site and then at home.
